What does it cost?
You don’t have to pay to use Amnet’s gaming servers. Plus, if you are an Amnet customer all traffic to and from our gaming servers is FREE.

If you’re not an Amnet customer playing on our servers may count towards your download allowance. If you’re interested you can sign up online here.

 

Where are they?
Amnet’s gaming servers are located in Perth, WA in our parent company Amcom’s secure Data Centre. They are all connected to the WAIX network to improve the performance for WA gamers.

 

How do I connect to Amnet’s servers?
Firstly, you’ll need to purchase/own a copy of the game you wish to play on our gaming servers. You can then join a game by using the search field within your chosen game. Search for the Amnet server using the IP address or name, and if it’s not full, connect.

 

Can I suggest a game?
Yes, we’re always open to suggestions and as we grow we’ll have more servers available for new games. So send us an email on gaming@amnet.com.au and if you’re request has general consensus we’ll endeavour to fulfil your request.

 

Why do you run Amnet’s gaming servers?
We’re committed to providing great value and this is just another way for Amnet to provide our customers added benefits for being an Amnet customer.

Plus we’re a WA company and we know how frustrating it can be having to connect to international or eastern state gaming servers so we wanted to “share the love” with WA gamers.

 

Do you host files?
At the moment, Amnet’s Gaming Zone does not host files such as patches, maps or other related files. This is something we are looking to introduce as the AGZ grows. If this is something you're passionate about please let us know, the more suggestions we receive the more likely this could happen. You can email us at gaming@amnet.com.au.

 

Do I have to be an Amnet customer to use your gaming servers?
No you don’t have to be an Amnet customer to use our gaming servers, everyone is welcome.

If however you are an Amnet customer the benefits are fantastic. The added benefit is a faster gaming experience as the traffic does not leave Amnet’s network. Plus, all traffic between Amnet customers and the gaming servers are not counted, so you can play till you fall over and never have to worry about your quota.

 

Can I book a server?
At the moment no, you can’t book a server, if however this is something everyone is interested in, let us know by contacting us at gaming@amnet.com.au.

 

What are the server IP addresses?
You can find the server IP addresses on our Servers page.

 

What are the rules?
We’d love it to be a free for all, but no one likes anarchy, so we do have some rules which we administer to ensure the servers are enjoyable for everyone. Rules can be found here.

Please note that if administrators find reason to believe you have regularly or intentionally breached the rules you will be banned.

 

What can I do if I'm banned?
Send us an email if you have been banned or feel you have been unfairly banned and would like to be reinstated. We’ll investigate your case and respond in kind. So be nice or no more fraggin’ for you.
